Thank you Lily!! This has been a journey and its not over yet! I receive on the average of 10 letters a day wanting to promote my product. Funny!!! They want me to pay them $30,000.00 plus take half of the profits. Then you have these companies that wants to charge you 350.00 to make a plaque of your patent.
Its amazing how many scam artist out there.

Mary, Congratulations! How incredibly handy and I wish you much success. Funny, the uses your friends came up with vs. for what you designed it, sounds like people need 2 of them. :) Kudos for not making a cheap product, I'd much rather pay for quality than something that falls apart on you, usually at the worst possible time.

Lily and Ann: Sorry I have not read this thread for awhile!! And Ann my good friends call me Mar!! Thank you!! I designed and Patented a supply caddy. ( Doesn't sound to exciting does it?) How this idea got started was I owned my own cleaning business for over 20 years, and have employees. We cleaned over three hundred homes in the Aspen Area. The problem being each girl had her own caddy, Those horrible long plastic worthless things!! Cleaning Product would spill out if you were not careful, and you would need to be careful where you placed the caddy. Scratch or stain an expensive piece of furniture. I designed a round caddy, made out of waterproof light canvas. Six inside pockets to carry the bottles in, and six outside pockets, for tile brushes, dusters, pumas stone. Two larger adjustable pockets to carry cleaning rags . The caddy will not tip or spill product out driving down the road.
After the Caddy was patented I sent twenty out to friends and told them to clean out from under their kitchen sink and put their cleaning products in. I don't believe one of them has used for their cleaning supplies . The supply caddy is being used to take supplies to the beach, diaper bags, beauty products, Horse supplies and the list goes on!! I had each of them take a photo and send to me how they were using the caddy. I would have never guessed that the girls would find so many uses for it. Leave it up to a woman!!
I am looking to get on QVC one of these days!! I have applied with them!! Sent them a photo of the caddy, so we will see where I go from there.

This is going to be my retirement!! So I hope its a winner!! At least no one else has designed anything like it. So I am safe that way. Getting it manufactured and marketed is very expensive!! I am trying to do this without borrowing a lot of money. The problem I am having with some marketers is they want me to make a cheap product. I refuse to make it cheap!! I want it to be durable and worth the money you spend on it. They say make it cheap and it will wear out faster and I can sell more. uggggg I hate that idea. Not my style!!

Favorite Room: In the Summer it's our sun porch (but much too cold to sit there in Winter!), the rest of the year it's our living room.

Recent Purchase: We're trying not to spend any money, but for my birthday last month my husband did buy me a pair of red leather gloves. I love them!

Favorite Meal: That's a hard one, I have so many, my favorite meal to make lately is a no-boil lasagna, very easy, very delicious! Other than that I'm not into meals, my latest addiction is black olives, dark chocolate, and wine!

Pam, I'm jealous, I would so love to go bra shopping! Unfortunately that has become a 'splurge' purchase because the ones I love are so darn expensive!

Combine a new flat screen TV, pillows and a puppy together and I don't think I would ever leave the house again.

Ann, LMAO. I still remember that Office episode. Bacon grilling in the bedroom. That's our Michael....!
