Christmas lists aren’t just for kids! I’ve had my eye on some Vera Bradley luggage for months, and I can assure you I’ve been a very good girl. What’s on your wish list this year?

Lily- its in the mail! We love that song
I can see you on Christmas morning ………
Sam, we like it too, but it’s one of those that is hard to get out of your head. It’s been stuck in mine for the longest time.
I asked for bath towels from my mom, who looked disappointed that I didn’t want something more exciting. I do look forward every year to getting a particular calendar from some friends. It’s become a tradition and I like thinking of them the year long when I use it.
I want something a little smaller than a hippopotamus ( and easier to spell.) I want a breadmaker. Other than that, I have a few books on my list and some small odds and ends. Does anyone else out there have a breadmaker? Do you use it and or like it? Any special tips on using one. I am pretty sure I will receive this since I don’t have a lot of my list and I want to be ready to make bread on Christmas Day.
Hi Samantha, I too love Vera Bradley!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just asked for the lunch tote for Christmas and hoping one of my sons have one wrapped under the tree
Abbey-
If not- they have been on sale on the site!
Pam, I have a breadmaker with which I’m very happy. It was a present last Christmas. It’s got Emeril’s name on it and made by T-fal,. I didn’t even know who he was until after he was on J&K. I use it all time because it is so easy and fresh bread tastes so good w/everything. I had an older on that I also liked, but Emeril’s makes different weights and real loves instead of the round cylinder type my old one baked. It has some inserts to make baguettes. You’re also supposed to be able to cook jam and pasta in it, but I doubt I would ever do that. I love it, just throw it all and pick the right setting. It has a great recipe for and makes a yummy glazed cinnamon brioche.
I asked for UGGS and a new Tom Tom (mine is 2 years old and the newer ones are better).
I think I get more excited, though, watching my niece and nephew open their gifts.
Sam, my aunt works at the corporate offices of Vera Bradley and without fail I always get Vera Bradley for Christmas. I have countless purses, luggage (only the soft-sided, no rolling or anything), a makeup bag, stationary, a wallet, a cookbook, etc. I’m not a huge fan, but some of it I like.
I want Anthropologie gift certificates for Christmas but I won’t get any. I’m getting an amethyst 5-decade rosary bracelet, because my mom can’t keep a secret when drinking and she told me last night.
Erin Kate, that is so funny. What an easy way to find out what you’re getting.
I’m not sure what 5-decade part means in relationship to the rosary bracelet, but it sounds beautiful. I love amethyst and just opened some dangling amethyst earrings today.
Pam, let us know if like your breadmaker which surely will be there.
My husband and I got each other Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish. We’ll see if this old brain of mine can still absorb new information.
Lily, it sounds like you use your bread machine quite a lot. Do you prefer the little packets of yeast, or the jar you keep in the refrigerator? I’m not even sure I have my bread machine instructions anymore, but it seems like having your ingredients at room temperature is important. Time to pull my old clunker machine out of the cupboard, I think.
Mary, What a neat present the two of you are doing to learn something new. Let us know how it goes. I am curious about Rosetta Stone.
I do use my breadmaker quite a bit and I love it even though they are so big. I like the individual packets of yeast, though I have to measure out of them. A lot of times, I will grab a box mix of Classic Hearth bread, they make a good white bread and very good Hawaiian bread.
Using the lounge to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Hope everyone gets just what they want and enjoys the holiday to the utmost!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Ugh Lilyand Sam!
I’ve had to play that darn hippo song since November 19th!
That and Dominick the Donkey are probably two of the most requested songs we get.
I don’t have a list. Actually, my camera broke tonight at our Christmas Eve dinner. I might be getting a New Year’s gift.
Erin Kate, that’s funny how your mom told you your gift. She sounds like mine….can’t keep a secret, and mine didn’t even have a drink.
I wish all here a Merry Christmas and a safe and healthy New Year!
