I just talked with a friend who's girlfriend from high school and daughter went to see Rachael Ray's talk show. The two of them told her how downright bitchy Rachel Ray really is when the camera light isn't on. They said she was yelling at people who work for her and being nasty. When the camera light came on she was all happy and peppy. They said they were truly shocked at her beahvior considering she had a live audience watching her act this way. The daughter said it completely turned her off from watching her show anymore. They said she is not nice at all! If that were me, I probably would've walked out. That's a golden rule everyone should follow, be nice to others. And even a more golden rule of broadcasters, your mic is always on. Another is to be an ambassador of your show/station, whether you're around one person or the whole audience. Rachael better wise up, just as fast as she rose to the top, she can fall to the bottom.
