Our read for the month of August will be The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs. We’ll begin the read the first of August and have several discussion posts thereafter.
Author Kate Jacobs has a dedicated website just for this book and her new release Knit Two at www.fridaynightknittingclub.com. You can find several book reviews and links to where you can purchase the book online.
In the meantime, please feel free to use this thread for future Book Nook suggestions!

I’m looking forward to giving this a try. I don’t actually know what it’s about. So far the books we’ve read have been interesting and it’s kind of nice to be “forced” to read a book you might not otherwise.
I purchased this book last summer and have yet to read it. I am also looking forward to reading it and I feel like I am ahead of the game this time.
I read this one also!lol It was my suggestion. I just finished the sequel and enjoyed it. I’ll be interested in reading your thoughts about the book. I’ll share mine after everyone is finished!
I remember Paula, that is one reason I wanted to read this one. The other reasonn was that I bought it last summer and still have not read it.
Pam, I hope you enjoy it. I have books from last summer also, something better seems to come along. Eventually they will all get read!
