Here I go again, excited beyond belief about a new shoe that I found. Have I mentioned that I have a thing about shoes? More like an obsession, I guess. I do try to keep shoe purchases down to a minimum but I think I will have to buy some of these.
The shoe is called SwitchFlops and they are designed by Lindsay Phillips. Make sure you read Lindsay’s About Us page because it details how her footwear concept evolved from a high school art project. Basically, you chose a shoe and then add a strap. The straps are decorative and adhere with Velcro.
If you prefer a cute, comfy flat you might want to purchase the Ballet Flat which features decorative snap ons. You can quickly change the look of the shoe from beach casual to a formal affair in a matter of seconds.
Finally, when you travel, you can pack as little as two pair of shoes and have numerous different looks. I am in heaven!
Do you own any of these shoes? Would you wear them?

Adorable!
I wish I could wear Ballet Flats. Unfortunately, I am short and my feet are kind of wide – they just don’t look good on me.
The SwitchFlops look like they have a heal and I love the styles.
Hmm. Spring is just around the corner – very tempting!
That. Is. BRILLIANT!!!!
Why didn’t I think of this?!
Intriguing idea! I may have to give these a try.
Well, I am LOVING my crocs! I do not wear flip flops, but I do wear ballet flats. My daughter “needs” shoes in every color…this looks like an affordable alternative to constantly getting a new pair. Cute!
I have looked at these SO many times in stores. I think the shoes are about $30 and each switch strap is about $12 each. Its a genius idea. Wish it were mine!
What a fabulous idea! Pretty affordable too. Love it!
Tiffany,
I was telling my husband the same thing tonight about the Snuggie. What a simple thing and so many people received one of the Snuggie’s for Christmas and they love them. I bet this person has made some money.
