Ladies~
Sorry I haven't gotten to your questions before now, I'll number my answers to go with the questions or comments, here goes....

#1 - Jen~Yes, there are Sensitive Formulas of MASCARA . My Makeup line has one if you'd like to try it. You can email me directly through my website & order. It is $12. And yes you should replace it every couple months.
#2-Samantha~ Follow the directions I posted under Neutral Medium Shadow. Just because you want a SMOKEY EYE doesn't mean the color has to be dark. Try a medium Brown or grey & maybe with a bit of shimmer. I have a couple colors that work great for this. Twig (brown) & Pewter (grey) I can also recomend eyeliners to add to the effect. Always go over your pencil eyeliner with your darker eyeshadow to set it (it won't smudge or disappear half thru your day) it also ties your eyeliner in with your shadow look) BLUSH- I also have 3 different blush colors that look so natural. Depending on your coloring I can advise.
#4-Theresa~10 ITEMS IN PURSE- I'm not suggesting that you carry all these items in your purse everyday. I meant your makeup bag or basket at home in your bathroom or at your makeup mirror. If you are using quality maeup & applying correctly ( I give lessons ) you shouldn't need anything other than powder, lip liner & lipstick or gloss (maybe an eyeliner) for your purse. AND you are never too old to wear eyeliner. I will be 42 on my next birthday & am not planning on stopping anytime soon. Everyone has to assess how much to apply & where ( a makeup artist can help) but it accentuates the eyes & makes lashes look thicker which it more youthful. many women think as we get older we need to revert back to when we didn't wear makeup, to look younger...not so.

I have not used LATISSE or do I know anyone who has. I'm a little skeptical because of possible side effects. That's just too close to the yes to be messing around when so many have sensitive eyes anyway. But check with a dermatologist.

Most other responses were comments on others posts. If you have any questions, please keep posting or email me directly through my website. If you want to SEND ME A PHOTO of yourself & by skintone & haircolor I can make suggestions!!! I will be submitting articles here on Imperfect Women again!

I would die without eyeliner. Seriously, I'm pale and blond. I need some definition so I don't look like an albino.

My "must haves"? If I really had to break it down, it'd probably be lip gloss, eyeliner and powder. But my makeup bag (which comes with me most places) is stuffed with 28 items. This includes: 3 lipsticks, 2 lip glosses, lip liner, lip brush, a blush and brush, eyeliner, mascara, sharpener, brow pencil, brow gel, eyelash curler, brow/eyelash comb, a whole 'nother set of mini-brushes in a plastic case, powder, a tiny pot of noxzema and some q-tips for fixing smudges, and eight different eyeshadow sets. Probably overkill? In my defense, it's pretty much all the makeup I own; I have a couple of things that I just couldn't fit in this makeup bag when I got it, and those are on my dresser. My foundation stays in the bathroom, and I don't wear concealer (maybe I should?). I'd probably carry more if I could fit it in the bag.

Anya, seriously, I read that, but I forget where. :) I think it may have been in Woman's Day magazine? I conciously do not line my bottom lid because of that article.

However, I have seen Carmindy do it to people on What Not to Wear, so I don't know what to think. I like watching what Carmindy does in the makeovers she does on the show. I think I trust her more than something I read (and forgot where I read it).

concealer
light foundation
loose powder

I have a brow kit (fills in the sparse areas and makes a huge difference in framing your face)
I wear eyeshadow most days- I like peach, or brown, or plum
