When I think of September I always think of kids returning to school, leaves starting to turn beautiful gold colors and a fresh new bevy of fall TV shows. After searching the internet, there appears to be somewhere around 24 new shows this fall depending on which site you read.
According to TV Guide the 10 most anticipated new shows are:
1. NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS)
2. FlashForward (ABC)
3. Glee (Fox)
4. V (ABC)
5. The Vampire Diaries (CW)
6. The Good Wife (CBS)
7. Three Rivers (CBS)

Yahoo! TV also has a nice printable Fall TV Premieres calendar with the times and dates of all of the fall shows.

I will check out jay’s new show, but I doubt if I will watch it 5 days a week. I am looking forward to Three Rivers to replace ER which we watched for years. But nothing will be close to NFL Football! A reality show in every game!
We already watched an episode of Glee and it was mindless TV geared toward the “High School Musical” crowd (I think.) The music was the best part by far.
I’m terrible. I have no interest in any of these shows! LOL! Right now it seems like I’m just watching DVDS of Bolt, The Retrievers, Finding Nemo, The Night at the Museum and Milo and Otis.
V? The aliens? I remember that, is this a remake?
I don’t know any of these. I am still trying to get caught up and other stuff. I am way behind on Heroes. One of my sons keeps telling me how great It’s always Sunny in Philadelphia is and I want to see that. Mostly, I’m waiting for 30Rock and The Office. There are so many choices and I never trust that one I get into is going to get pulled off the air.
I love the crime shows and NCIS LA is at least worth a peek (now only time will tell if it’s actually any GOOD lol).
I am looking forward to seeing The Good Wife. I really like Chris Noth from the old Law and Order days. I will probably watch Jay Leno but not every night. 24 new shows. What could they all be about? Trauma looks interesting but not sure it can replace my love of ER.
I am really looking forward to the return of The Office also. We also enjoy Law and Order, Criminal Minds, Cold Case, Two and A Half Men, Without A Trace, Dateline, CBS Mysteries and I know there are some more that I can’t think of right now.
Can’t wait for The Office and 30 Rock. I’m also looking forward to the Amazing Race and Brother & Sisters.
Of the new shows, Glee is the one I am most interested in. Ann, I am surprised you found it geared to the High School Musical crowd. I thought it was funnier and more sophiscated than that, but I haven’t watched an entire episode yet.
Lily, my daughter LOVES It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia too. One of these days, I will make the time to check it out.
I’m not really interested in any new shows this year- for some reason, The Vampires Diaries looks kind of interesting to me so I *might* check it out
Have any of you seen Drop Dead Diva on lifetime? It’s great!
The only new show from that list I’m at all interested in is Glee. But I feel like there are more than enough returning shows to keep me busy! I like the fall tv season and seeing new episodes of favorite shows, but it does cut into my computer/reading/sleep time!
I cannot WAIT for The Office to start up again!! I am also on the Glee bandwagon- looks like a cute show with some interesting plot point possibilities. I just got into the show Dexter, as well, and will catch that online when I can. Oh, and Chuck starts back up next year which will be awesome.
I watch too much TV… haha…
THE OFFICE STARTS TOMORROW NIGHT!! WOO HOO!!
I can’t wait. I have class Thurs nights but this prof lets us out way early. I am hoping to be done early enough to head to a friends house nearby and catch it when it airs, instead of on hulu on Friday
