I live in the northeast and the weather is crazy here this winter! It was unseasonably warm last week and suddenly last night all heck broke loose with an ice/snow storm.

I am a school bus driver and I take my three girls, 10, 7, and 17 months on the bus everyday with me. Very early morning and some extra grey hairs;)
Hi I ive in a remote area in SD and live on a ranch where we raise cattle and sheep. Our closest grocry store is 35 mi. away. Our weather has been unusually mild and presently have no snow on the ground. We begin to calve(cows begining having their babies or calves)and that makes it for a very busy SPring. So we are hoping our weather continues to be mild.

Welcome to all the new posters to IW today! I contribute to IW about gardening, and for Jan. it feels like spring today. We hit 58 today for a high, so washed bedding and hung it on the line. I volunteer in my town, cancer ward for women with breast cancer, food bank, and love DH and my family.
I have two grandchildren named Johnny and Katie and NO… I didn’t name them
I know lots of jokes but they aren’t really the kind I can tell.
My car got broken into wednesday and wallet stolen…what a fun thing to happen while 7 months preggo!
I have the Sprout channel turned on. My 4 yr old is on the couch sucking on one of her dollie’s bottles and my 2 yr old is sitting on my lap eating pretzels while I type.

I am spring cleaning. It sucks but it’s amazing how much extra room you get cleaning and rearranging.
I live in Colorado. I spend far too long surfing then net. I can’t stand hate and bullying. I like the Gosselins and Duggars. I watch General Hospital. I like to save money. I love my iphone and Kindle. I want to go to Hawaii. I want an Ipad.
i hate mornings, and usually take my time getting ready. even if it means being late for something. my favorite time is definitely bed time. i could probably sleep forever.
When I first started blogging 3yrs ago my daughter made the account for me. Today after weeks of trying I was able to change my avatar on twitter, by myself! LOL
Some days IW is my only adult interaction & “me” time and I’ve met some really great women who I now consider friends. I really didn’t expect that to happen, but I’m very glad it did.

I am addicted to iced coffee. Specifically McDonalds iced coffee. The exact order is – medium sugar free french vanilla iced coffee with 2 xtra creams. Booyah!
Mo, as addictions go, I think that is a pretty safe one to have. I have never liked coffee. I like the smell, brings back memories of waking up to it perking when I was young.
Only myself to blame..take the kids regularly, but didn’t go myself for too long

Two household tasks I enjoy the least are laundry & lunches! I can never get the laundry totally done!
Pam, I’ve never been a huge coffee drinker. I don’t really drink hot coffee. I just love the creamy iced coffee kind. And I like to prentend that it’s fat free, calorie free and organic. lol
I am with you on the laundry and lunches!!
I can wash/dry but I always have a stack of clothes on my dresser because I hate putting it away!
Both of my kids school have a healthy choice (fresh fruit and veggie bar) at lunch so most days they buy lunch at school.

Laundry… UGH, I wash and dry. Hate to fold and really really hate to put away. My husband checks several places thru out the house when looking for something to wear.
Our family adopted a puppy from the islands of Turks and Caicos in the caribbean. He is a Potcake and my furbaby soul-mate! His name is Iggy and we love him to the moon and back. Potcakes are just the most AWESOME dogs! Check out potcakeplace.org to learn more!
In my early 30′s I was still so afraid of the dentist I needed a root canal. I was in so much pain and had lost 20 lbs.
A friend told me about nitrous oxide and that was my ticket. I came right out of it and went to work right after. I lol enjoyed it so much I had all the work done my mouth needed after years of neglect and now I don’t need the gas anymore when I go. Its just no big deal now.

We recently got a smoker and are having fun trying new recipes. I’m having trouble finding good wood chips. Anyone know where they can be found? Apple is our favorite.

If there is an apple orchard close to you, when they prune, they have pieces you could cut up yourself. You can buy smoker chips at local nurserys, places that sell the smokers or on-line. I have even seen them sold in stores during the grilling season.

I’ve been online since 1994 when we got our first computer. Wow, things sure have changed since then! I’m now the 50 y/o mom of 3 y/o B/G twins and an 11 y/o ‘Tweenie’, my 3 miracles from God after many years of dealing with infertility/procedures. Well I guess winter is finally here. It’s snowing. Aaarrrggghhh.
I will be married 35 yrs. this spring, got married very young, had kids very young, and we kind of all grew up together. We struggled quite a bit in the early days but my kids are wonderful, responsible adults who are all college-degreed with great careers.Even though we got married young we got married with the intention of staying married and believe me there were times when we had to work hard at that committment but it has been so worth it.
I am the mother of a boy (20yrs) and a girl (15yrs) and a wife for 23years. I like trying to find good deals to help my family and friends.

Am a Damned Yankee married to the most southern of gentlemen…a very LONG time ago. 2 children who have been gone on to do great things w. their lives. We have one DAWG & one very talkative African Grey parrot. (2011 was Mother Nature’s revenge on us…to have found IW & their creative humor & writing talents has been a BRIGHT spot!)

I dislike driving in the snow. It makes me a nervous wreck.
my fiancee is an mma fighter and has a fight next friday, im so nervous, especially because i have to stay home with the baby and wont be able to watch. i know he’ll do good though.
im also in the process of losing the extra weight i have from my daughter. its hard, considering i cant find the strength or motivation haha.
I TRIED to do the ‘brazilian butt-lift workout’ this morning with my daughter-in-law and I still feel shaky.

I think this is my favorite-est thread ever. I like flavored hot and iced coffee too! In fact, the mocha frappe is the only thing left at McDonald’s that I can stand to consume. Coffee is always good!
