Jasmin sent us a picture of the fun Halloween night she had with her friends for our slideshow. We took the slideshow down today so we decided to post the picture here in the lounge so everyone could enjoy. Thanks, Jasmin. Feel free to use this thread to tell us what you did for Halloween. We would love to post more pictures in this thread of your adventures last night. You can email them to info@imperfectwomen.com.

Jasmin, great picture. Now you need to tell us what it is all about. My husband and I stayed home for Halloween and had lots of Trick or Treaters. We finally had to turn off the lights at 8 pm because we ran out of candy.
The first child who came to our door asked my husband for more Skittles and turned around and walked away without a “Thank you” while the mother stood there with a smile on her face. I know it was many years ago but my mother would have been appalled if anyone in our family asked for more candy.
My sons went to parties both Friday and Saturday night and had a great time. I guess Halloween being on a Saturday night this year really made it more festive for many people.
Love the pic Jasmin. Hope everyone had a good holiday. We had fun til we wore ourselves out. It’s also one of the few times of the year I get a sitter so I can hang w/big people. It was so much fun. Already looking forward to Turkey day.
My friends and I went to some parties and had a really good time. I even got my roommate (the flight attendant) to enter a costume contest! (She lost out to a pint-sized Whitney Houston though). Some of the funny costumes I saw: Gumby, a hot dog, and a cow (all guys of course). I can’t wait to go home and eat my sisters’ Halloween candy–the people on my block always give out the good stuff.
Hey, Jasmin. Nice to see you out enjoying yourself. I know how hard you work at your studies.
Hope your sisters save you some candy!
My Halloween was kind of blah. Spent a lot of time ferrying my 18-year-old around. Handed out candy. The usual.
Lily, I agree. When I think Halloween, I think only a few weeks until Thanksgiving, one of the bestest holidays EVER invented.
Pam, re: the Skittles. Poor kid. His mother is clearly not doing what she needs to to teach him proper manners and even though many people think we aren’t as polite a society as we used to be, I still think knowing the social niceties is critical to success as an adult.
My daughter has been trick or treating in a friend’s neighborhood for 4 years now. Every year, at a particular house, they go inside to see the old woman who lives there. A nurse answers the door and has them come to the living room. The light is on, and from outside, you can see the girls smiling and talking to a woman in a wheel chair. It’s always sweet.
This year they came out so excited. The old woman is 100 years old this year! They were so proud of her. They said that each year she has been telling them to come back next year, “I’ll be 98,” then 99, then 100. It was really cute how happy they were for her.
Fun fact: My birthday is exactly 4 weeks after Halloween and 4 weeks before Christmas!
Is it the 28th, Jasmine? That was my mom’s birthday.
My costume was of someone never seen before; A Democrat with an open mind!!! (just picking on you, Dems).
Jenny,
Yes, what a coincidence! Pam’s mom and my mom have the same birthday as well.
Great people were born in October and November!
Ok Jeff, Republicans , especially one I know pretty well, can be accused of not having an open mind also. LOL
Fun fact: My birthday is exactly 4 weeks after Halloween and 4 weeks before Christmas!
That is fun! My birthday is exactly 5 days after, and my daughter’s is 5 days before (Best. Christmas. Gift. Ever!) So great people were born in December, too…me, the little one, Jesus…
