RadarOnLine is reporting that Stephanie Santoro, a former Gosselin babysitter, is revealing that Jon Gosselin has been hacking into Kate Gosselin’s email, phone and on-line banking accounts. Stephanie Santoro is the babysitter that claims she had an affair with Jon Gosselin while caring for the Gosselin children.
“Jon told me that he pretty much hacked into everything of Kate’s that he had access to,” Jon’s former short term girlfriend Stephanie told RadarOnline.com: “Her online banking, that he had a trace on every single one of her emails so anytime she would get an email he would get a copy of it!”
Jon responded later through his lawyer, Mark Heller. Heller told People.com that Jon, “unequivocally told me that he’s never illegally invaded Kate’s electronic privacy in any way. He also finds it a little disappointing that Kate would give credence to an uncorroborated statement made by an individual who clearly has a motivation to tell stories about Jon that might result in financial [compensation].”
Kate Gosselin stated she’s “disturbed” by Stephanie Santoro’s allegations. “Ms. Gosselin is carefully considering all of her legal options regarding this matter, and she will pursue them if and when the time is right,” said the statement released by Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, her Philadelphia law firm.

I believe Jon told Stefanie these things. I’m not sure that he actually did them. She seems truthful to me. Nothing is reflecting well on him these days. J&K were so close to their divorce being finalized and now, who knows how long it’s going to get drug out. I did read today that TLC plans a show with Kate regardless of what happens to Kate+8, That must settle some of her fears for the future.
TLC is waiting for the couple to resolve their differences before resuming production.
“If this works out, we will film the kids again,” Goldberg said. “No matter what, we’re doing a show with Kate.”

A couple thoughts here –
One big problem is that Jon speaks out of both sides of his mouth so much, it is impossible to believe anything he says. He has both denied and admitted veing involved with Kate Major and Stephanie. He has both denied and admitted the show is bad for the kids. He has denied and admitted talking the money out of the account. Furthermore, he always has an excuse. It is the other women’s or Kate’s fault, it is TLC’s fault, he just thought he was taking his paycheck, he didn’t have a lawyer when he signed the TLC contract, etc.
Jon’s lawyer also used the qualifier “illegally” before hack. That gives them some wiggle room for Jon to later say that he did not know it was illegal. (if your spouse knows your password, is it illegal for them to go through your email?)
As if the allegation itself, I am not sure. Jon and his lawyer have talked about not wanting to embarass Kate. What does Kate have to be embarassed about unless Jon has seen messages or bank withdrawls that are questionable? Why is Jon so sure there are hidden accounts and talks specifically about amounts of money from book sales ?
Maybe Jon has been collecting emails to use against Kate. We know he didn’t hesitate to go public with Kate’s email about the twins birthday and spin it that she didn’t want him to see his kids on their birthday (actually she offered a fair division of after school time).
Jon’s problem with all this is that if he does have “evidence”, he is going to have to explain how he got it. If he did anything remotely questionable to get it, watch out.
Of course, Jon has another big problem on his hands. He is being sued by TLC.
I have no doubt that Jon told Stephanie he hacked into Kate’s private stuff but I’m not sure he actually did it. He has told so many lies, I’m not sure he even knows the truth anymore.
I am going to have agree that some of this did happen. This was repprted a few weeks back in another tabloid magazine before the video was released. I was reading a article Perez Hilton about Jon being in LA with his interviews and how some women befriended him at the hotel he was staying at. The ladies said he had verbal diarrhea and bashed Kate relentlessly calling her evil and psycho. Then he told the ladies he had a few tabloid secrets up his sleeves and would reveal them when the time was right. Jon has been on a rant for months about how much he dislikes Kate and TLC so this kinda rings true if the ladies did speak with him. I feel for the children most of all , as much as Kate is trying to filter things I am sure some of this information is reaching the children. If it is true how do you explain this to your children ? Again Kate is taking the high road and being diplomatic have to give her kudos there. No wonder she will not speak with in person because who knows what else he will spit out.
I can’t think this girl would make this up out of thin air. Obviously he told her something. He may have bragged about “hacking” in to make himself loo like an IT wizard when in fact he simply knew her passord and she was too clueless to change it.
Since he and his lawyer mention not wanting to embarrass kate (which reads to me like a subtle threat of blackmail) I am wondering if her relationship with the body guard is part of that. Imagine that would be highly embarrassing if she had actually been the one to start cheating on HIM when he was a stay at home dad. I can’t think of anything else that would embarrass her if it’s just business. Unless there are a lot of texts or email about her plotting with TLC to get Jon out and take all the money. He must have seen something in there that made him wild.
It’s a good question as to whether the email of a husband and wife is private from each other. Would the US mail be? If I hae a credit card in my name and my husband opens the bill, can I sue him? If you know their password is that still “hacking?” They always say never write something in an email you would not want the whole world to see, as it’s never really private.
Kate will consider her options then they will both give all their money to lawyers is my guess.
The lawyers will never want to arbitrate, they will want to whisper to the client “We can win! but it’s going to take a lot of money.”
These two seem like babes in the wood. They have no idea what they get themselves into but it will end in bankruptcy.

Okay, so if he had ACCESS to it it’s not really hacking. Jon thinks Kate’s got 11 accounts or is hiding money etc so obviously his hacking or detective skills are not up to the job of finding out where all that money is or even hiring someone who can. Jon’s former babysitter who claims to have slept with him is not a girlfriend – Radar online doesn’t seem to care too much about the details and being accurate, just controversial. She’s trying to get paid for a story.
I don’t doubt he put a tracer on her email if that’s possible to do. So now she can carefully consider whether it’s worth it to get after him about this, or whether some of those emails are so detrimental or embarrassing to her that maybe she wants to “take the high road” on this and just come back to the bargaining table as she may not have all the cards face down as she thought. meanwhile he is playing a dangerous game. This reminds me of high school drama. Very beneath two adults with a family watching.
It’s all so sordid. I have very little respect for this young lady. Yes, I believe she’s telling the truth, but I can’t overlook how rotten it is to sleep with a married man, to do so while being paid to babysit, then to sell the story to the tabloid, all while a wife is trying to divorce the man and there are 8 children to consider. Bleh. I know these women— Hailey, Deanna, Stephanie, and Kate Major— are young, but not so young that they can’t figure out right from wrong. It’s wrong to draw this type of attention to this family.

It’s hard for me to blame a 23 year old woman for relenting to the pressure of an adult man, although they are adults themselves they are still emotional. I think kate Majors is trying to get famous, this Stephanie is trying to have a modeling career and who knows what Glassman is out for. The fact he seems to meet all these girls while “partying” tends to point to a drunken good time with maybe not the best choices made on either side.
The idea that they would kiss and tell – or be interested in him only for the exciting brush with celebrity of sorts, or to then later sell a story, should have occurred to him. Even if he and his wife were estranged for years prior to this, and he was desperate for love, sex and retaliation against Kate, as a 32 year old father of 8 he should know he is not exactly Playgirl of the month material, these women are looking for more than or something other than a boy toy.

Not me. I agree they are not adults in the same sense that a 40 year old woman is, but they are still old enough to know not to do this. As for emotional maturity? They all seem a tad bit more mature than Jon Gosselin himself. He makes 15 year olds look emotionally mature.
I’m with you Ann! A 23 year old is an adult. All those flavors of the month of his should’ve known better.
And, I believe he hacked into Kate’s email. He probably put an invisible stealth program on her computer when she was out speaking or anytime for that matter. This is exactly what Stephanie described happens with these programs. That sounds like something he would do, especially if he were fed lies from Jodi about speculation of Kate having an affair with the bodyguard. And, most likely he found she wasn’t.

Exactly Paige! This will only land him in deeper waters. He will have to pay for this, too. That’s criminal behavior.
His behavior is well below that of a good father, and/or decent ex-husband.
i think kate trusted him. and he violated that. i don’t think she thought she’d have to change passwords etc. i don’t think she thought jon would actually look at her emails etc.
he just really has changed so much i can’t figure out what the impetus was.
I think that TLC saying that they arae going forward with a show with Kate is their way of telling Jon that he will out of the money completely. I doubt seriously that he has anything damaging ‘on Kate’. This man runs out to the street with an email from her. He couldn’t keep his mouth shut if he really had dirt.
