I believe Friday’s shows are always pre-taped so this preview must have been from the day they taped the show.
Am I the only one who doesn’t like The View?
Very cute. Nice to see her having a good time. I’ll be watching tomorrow.
I am not a fan of The View either. I use to be. My dislike for Whoopi is part of it and I use to be a fan of hers. Her defense of Roman Polanski and the rape not being “rape rape” really did me in. It started with her defense of Michael Vick.
I think Joy Behar can be funny. I also don’t like the way they talk over each other.
I know some of their behavior brings in viewers but I quit taping it several years back and have not really missed it.
Kate is really cute in that clip.
I usually have The View on, but don’t always like it. Usually it’s just good for snark value.
Whoopie always defends fellow celebrities (ones that she considers celebrities) with, “we don’t know, we weren’t there”. As in, “maybe Rhianna did something to tick Chris Brown off, we don’t know, we weren’t there.” I’m not really crazy about the whole reality star thing, but that’s what’s big now, and Kate isn’t the only one they have on the show (that’s where Elizabeth Hasselbeck came from, for one). If Whoopie doesn’t like them she could just leave the show.
As Bill Geddie says on the clip, Kate brings in viewers, which is good for Whoopie’s job.
She does have a great laugh. She really looks like she’s enjoying herself.
My computer is slow tonight so I haven’t seen the clip. I might be able to watch tomorrow, if I fnd out when it airs. I don’t really care for The View, but I have seen Kate in clips and I thought she did just fine.
She looks beautiful in the frame posted here. I sort of hope she becomes a regular on The View.
I do like the SNL parody of The View. “So what? Who cares,” Elizabeth holding her stack of papers from the Internet, Whoopi’s “look,” it is just too funny.
I DO NOT like The View at all. But of course I will watch it since my girl will be on it!!
You can bet everyone will watch the view!!! The Khaters will have to pick her apart. Kate is a strong and beautiful women and will continue to work to support her children. Yes, it’s for her kids!!! I will turn in and enjoy the holiday weekend with family.
First, Kate looks stunning. Really beautiful in this clip.
Second, yes Whoopi is on a show that promotes celebrities and she owes her job to the ratings they bring. If she finds this to be beneath her, maybe she can try and return to her big Hollywood career.
Wait, what was the last movie she made? What was the last movie she made that was any good?
Third, I don’t like The View very much either. The talking over each other is annoying, but they kind of have it set-up so the ladies have to do that. The last few times Kate has been on I felt we didn’t get to hear from her enough because she has to compete with five other “mouths” who do this for a living. I hope Kate gets to speak more tomorrow.
Fourth, I am another viewer that doesn’t typically watch The View that will be watching tomorrow —- specifically because of Kate.

Not a fan of The View. It never interested me. But, I’ve watched every time Kate was on. I watched a few times when Rosie was first on. I loved her at the time. I used to really enjoy her show. Her’s was only daytime talk show I watched w/any consistency. But, then she got flaky fighting w/Trump and Elisabeth. I thought she was losing it.
I already said how Whoopie had lost a fan in me for the things she lets come out of her mouth.
I watch The View when Kate is on. I love my mornings and not into giving them up to TV most of the time. I was very disappointed by some of the womens rants about Kate. Felt it was 2 faced to have her on and then speak so rudely about her at other times. After watching this video, I must say if Bill were on instead of Whoopi and Joy I might watch more often!

I think Kate looks great in the clip. I love her laugh and her self deprecating humor. Kate appears to have gotten happier, lighter, and more self confident in the past months.
I also do not like the view…with the talking over each other. I find Joy and Whoopi particularly irksome with their air of superiority. I will only be watching because of Kate, and by what Bill Geddes states Kate is why a lot of others will be watching too.
I don’t watch The View, except when Kate’s on……partly because I don’t watch much daytime tv (although now that I’m retired I guess I could..lol). But, I still would stay away because of Whoopi and her holier than thou attitude towards people…….and Joy and her two faced ways. Sometimes she can be sweet as pie……….next time a b………mmmm…….not so nice. (just like on her own show) They are both closed minded and think their way is the only way.
Kate looks great!!! And she seems as though she’s truly relaxing and enjoying herself at last. She’s got a sparkle in her eyes and and a lightness in her demeanor that is a joy to watch. I think she’s recovering from the divorce and all the abuse she took during her marriage. We all know she still has plenty of stress ahead because of Jon’s next excapade, whatever it may be, but I think she’s better able to handle it that ever before. I’m looking forward to tomorrow!!!

That is a big turnoff of the View. Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel have done some very funny bits on the talking over each other thing. You’d think Geddes would’ve told them to stop it. There’s a difference with heated discussions…or even discussions at all…and this mess where they talk over each other. They should listen, then respond. Act like ladies, not some embarrassing teen slumber party gone wrong. I think ego plays a big part of it. They just want to get what they have to say and they think they have the upper hand so they continue talking. As we all know, not effective at all. I have noticed that Sherri stops talking and will then come back and say what she needs to say to gain the floor. That’s what they all should do.
Let’s see how Whoopi acts tomorrow when Kate’s there. It’ll probably be the only time she’s silent.
I just saw the clip. I always liked how Kate can make fun of herself. Like in this clip, how she makes fun of her dancing days.
I absolutely positively agree with you all about how annoying “The View” can be at times….While being in the hospital, I’ve tried to watch it, but I never fail to dose off while listening to all of their chatter!!haha
Obviously they’ve got me pretty wired up right now because it’s 2:20 a. m. and I should have been asleep hours ago by now.
I’m having some major surgery tomorrow on my liver, but it’s scheduled for the afternoon, so I might be able to watch Kate on there if my nerves don’t get the best of me!
Kate does look beautiful in the clip….so happy for her that she’s taking the high road and continuing to be classy all the while!
Everyone have a great day tomorrow…my surgery is supposed to be risky, but I have to have faith because I’ve made it through two liver transplants successfully….The Joy of The Lord is my Strength and my Hope! If Kate had all the botox that the rag mags claim then she wouldn’t have been able to laugh with her entire head. That whole face smile just shows what liars they are. Kate, you go girl!
I taped the show but haven’t watched yet. I would really enjoy Kate putting some of those snarky superior acting women in their place by asking them some serious questions like, ” Whoopi, have you donated your time or so called talent to any worthwhile cause recently”. Whoopi and Elizabeth are the two I would not miss. As one of my littles says, I just can’t yike her.

I watched it online. Kate looked fantastic. When asked about rumors, Kate said no botox, no breast job. She said she got a bra. I could care less. Even if she had, it’s not like she had some big old gazumbas put in as some celebs have done. That’s usually the only time boob jobs get noticed and you’re supposed to notice.
The cohosts paired off for different segments, so there wasn’t a lot gabbing going on. They were mostly “oohing and aahing” at different products and clothes after the opening. Kate did great.
Thanks everyone for your prayers and well wishes. Unfortunately, my surgery was not successful at all today. A surgery that was supposed to take 1 hour ended up taking 9 and then they came out and told my poor husband that they were going back to the “drawing board” to attempt a surgery again next week. I’m in a lot of pain, but content tonight because at least they didn’t do anything to cause my entire liver to fail immediately…things could be A LOT WORSE…that’s for sure. I’m thankful to have my computer up here for “moral support”, my cheerleaders and my prayer warriors. Also, it really passes the time to watch TV online…goodness how times have changed!
My beautiful 15 year old daughter Courtney spent the night with me up here last night! That was fun to spend that special time with her.
Sorry for not posting about the “subject at hand” I’m just so tired and wanted to give a quick update…I’m gonna go try to find Kate on The View online now!

I did answer you! Hope it boosted the ratings for the View not so much because I like the show, it is not my favorite but to help Kate continue on her road of success.
I thought Kate did great and I am glad she stuck up for herself and told Joy where to stick it
Jacquelyn-I’m sorry things didn’t go better but, you’re right, concentrating on the fact that the worst case scenario DIDN’T happen is the best thing for your morale. Hang in there!
Computers are a lifeline for people whose medical conditions limit their ability to go out and about. When I went through my back surgeries nearly 40 (I was 20 for the first and not quite 22 for the second) years ago, there wasn’t even remote control for our home TV (of course, we didn’t have all that many channels either). At least with computers, you don’t feel so cut off from things and people.
