Oops! How embarrassing. Katherine Heigl was accepting an award at the ShoWest Awards last night and her shoulder strap on her designer dress snapped in the middle of her speech. Flustered at first ( and rightfully so) she regained her composure. Host Billy Bush stepped up to the plate and gallantly spared her any further embarrassment by holding the outfit in place while she finished her speech.

I can’t even imagine. I would totally lose my composure in such a situation. Good for Heigl for getting through it with some grace.
How embarrassing! Ugh. Youwould think a the price tag that comes with a designer dress might have more stability.

Those were my thoughts. The designer must be pretty embarrassed also.
I can not think of anything that has happened to me quite that bad over the years when it comes to my wardrobe but I will have to put some thought into it. I have had bras break before. I am sure my pants must have split sometime in my life.
Years ago, in the University resident’s cafeteria my track pants fell to my ankles and I dropped my tray at the same time. Hundreds of people got a glimpse of my ratty under wear (in my defense it was during exams)..I was so mortified I just bolted thru the first door I saw, it happened to be the kitchen. Staff were yelling at me all the way to the exit. I was humiliated and never wanted to go back, but alas had to swallow my pride, because I got really hungy. I’m pretty sure I did not look nearly as glamerous as Katherine did when it happened.
Momsby, that’s so awful. I hope you can laugh about it now. Those wrap-around dresses once got me on the steps of the church. It was when I was in high school, but I still remember being so embarrassed that my dress whipped open in the wind giving a nice clear shot to the congregation leaving the church on the way to their cars.
Katherine handled that w/grace. I bet she checks it out the next time she feels something pop. What a time for that to happen.
I had so many wardrobe malfunctions in my life I just take it in stride and the last one was when my daughter was about 6 months old and she yanked my tanktop down the front and I exposed myself to some unexpected shoppers in the grocery store. I just had to laugh about it.

I had a pair of tight jeans split once at work. Ugh. I slipped out quietly and headed to The Gap and bought another pair (next size up!).
What do you guys think of Heigl as a brunette? I actually prefer the blonde, but she looks beautiful no matter what.
Hey! Last night I was dancing at a wedding and my wrap-dress untied itself. The material is slippery so I guess it came undone because of my awesome dance moves? I caught it in time to spare myself and my entire family embarrassent, but it was a close call.
