First off I want to say Klutz Books have been a favorite in our house for a while now. My 10 yr old has quite a few of their books. She discovered them at Target about 2 years ago. They have given her quite a few hours of enjoyment! I love how they generate the creative side of kids, actually teach them things with out them knowing! That’s always a bonus.
The instructions are very clear. The products are very easy to use and the mess was very minimal. My daughter and I both agree that kindergarten and up would probably be the recommended age unless there is an adult right there helping.
You receive with the book four paint gels, four toothpicks to swirl the paint and four plastic strips to work on.
The book recommends that you wait 24 hours for the paint to dry and then whala! You have very pretty bracelets! My daughter had a blast making these and went on to make 10 more. They kids in the neighborhood have been trying to trade with her all week!

Yay! I can’t wait to give these away. They are sooo cool.
One of my neighborhood kids tried to bribe me today for an entry because she said her mom didn’t know how to blog. LOL
How fun! The finished bands look really cute.
This is really a great craft idea for little girls. Thanks for sharing this and offering this giveaway.

You sold me.
Hope some lucky girls are the recipients of this great prize.
Thanks, CraftyMom.
Cool craft project! Stuff like this makes me wish I had a little one to do these things with…
My daughter loved the Klutz books when she was growing up and she would have loved this. Makes me wish was litttle again.
Those really look like a tonne of fun to make…what age do you recommend for this craft? I’ve never heard of Klutz craft books.(that I can recall) Has anyone seen the books at Walmart?
Sorry momsby I didn’t get an email that you commented!
So far I have seen them at craft stores and Target. I don’t recall seeing them at Walmart but I will keep and eye out. They have all sorts of books like magic books, crafts and games. My daughter loves them.
Oh and I’d say kindergarten and up unless your kid is a veteran crafter just because they have to be able to control the paint flow.
Thanks CM, I’ll keep my eye out for them in Canada.
