As soon as the Department of transportation (DOT) cleared, salted, and cindered the hill, another inch had fallen. Tractor trailers in the only cleared lane were just stuck. He never made it home that night, but stayed at a hotel nearby. I was a nervous wreck, but he was calm and warm. He complained only of boredom. He's travelled for over 12 hours in an airplane and said that is much worse. At least in the snow you can take a walk and chat with other motorists, share news and food, call home, breathe fresh air. Did I understand that the guy not only tried to pay for cocaine with a credit card but reported a car stolen that he himself had stolen? I think he needs to be locked up for his own protection because obviously he's a bit challenged by everyday life. I wouldn't mind a snow day...
