Gloria Allred got hammered by Judge Jeanine Pirro on The Sean Hannity Show last night and it was a pleasure to watch.
Yesterday Tiger Woods issued an emotional apology on national TV. In Los Angeles, local TV stations followed Woods’ statement with a news conference involving attorney Gloria Allred and one of the golfer’s alleged mistresses. Allred called Woods’ apology “a staged public relations stunt” and “a disgrace.” “I just watched Tiger Woods’ apology on television, and he said that many people believed in him. He also said he wanted to make amends. He did not apologize by name to my client, Veronica, and I ask, why no apology?”
Allred is representing Veronica Siwik-Daniels, also known as porn actress Joslyn James. James claims that she was twice impregnated by Woods and demanded an apology from the golf star. On a side note, according to Washington state’s Department of Social & Health Services web site, James owes $12,677.02 in child support payments. The porn star is supposed to support a 10-year-old child with monthly payments of $622.95
Later in the day, Judge Jeanine Pirro and Gloria Allred had at it and in my book the Judge won this argument hands down. Watch the video’s below and share your thoughts. Does Woods owe James an apology? What is Allred’s motive behind this? Just keep in mind while your are watching this, “that porn stars are women too.”

Gloria Allred has set the Women’s Movement back about 100 years with this pathetic argument that “Porn Stars are Women too”! This woman will do anything for attention and a fee. To say that “Tiger lied to my client because he promised her a lifetime together” and that he should “publicly apologize to her” and “acknowledge their relationship” is insane! Her client had an affair with a married man who had two children. She is an independent women who made the choice willingly just like the numerous other idiots did. At least she has her “porn career” to pay the bills. Gloria Allred is a disgusting publicity seeker and an embarrassment not only to women attorneys, but to all women. Shame on her!
Although, I can see why it’s of interest in the story, it doesn’t matter to me what this woman does for a living. The big fact right in front is that Tiger was married, ntm the children.
Yes, Jeanine won and she was super-cocky about it. I’m not familiar w/her, but she knew had won and nailed Gloria.
I have never heard of Judge Jeanine Piro until I watched this video, so I am not a fan of hers. I am just sick and tired of Gloria Allred. I thought that when she jumped on the media attention seeking bandwagon with the Kreiders that she had reached a low but in my mind this is worse.
It is rumored that she received $350,000 dollars from Rachel Uchitel and I think that she was just looking for more of that here. But I think her main motivation is media attention.
Here’s what I think:
If Tiger talked her into giving up her career as a porn star, then she owes Tiger a debt of thanks. She owes Tiger’s wife and kids (through the mom, not face-to-face) a private apology. He probably should apologize to every woman he used, including her, privately. She should stop making money off the objectification of women. She should definitely stop holding press conferences about how hurt she is that a cheating husband wasn’t faithful. That’s just embarrassing.
And Gloria Allred owes Kate Gosselin an apology!
Edited to add: So does Jodi Kreider.
I have no problem with what this woman does for a living. I just used that title because Gloria sounded so stupid when she said it. This isn’t about politics or being right or left. This just happened to be on Fox. This is about Gloria Allred demanding a public apology specifically for her client so that they can then turn around and sue him in court for loss of wages or palimony or some such nonsense.
I am not a fan of Tiger Woods either or what he did. The people that were hurt here are his wife, children and his mother. Not Miss James.
This was the best 10 minutes of television I ever saw. Judge Piro did what I have been waiting for someone to do for twenty years: put Gloria Allred in her place. She has has a unfettered run with ridiculous positions that everyone was afraid to oppose. I am all for Women’s rights but whenever I see her on TV I know it’s going to be a position I oppose and this one was no different. Tiger owes her an apology??? She knew he was married with kids. Enough for me. Neither her nor Tiger are winners here. Both are losers and Gloria is the biggest loser of them all.
Tiger Woods and Gloria Allred owe ME an apology for subjecting me to their pathetic self-absorbed media show!
Is it possible for Gloria to give lawyers a bad name??? I hear they may be looking into a “palimony” type law suit. I guess she wasn’t too good a porn star huh? Gloria has turned into a media ho and I have no respect for her.
And Gloria Allred owes Kate Gosselin an apology! – Ann
Yes, she does. Also, she owes Jon Gosselin an apology too because I believe her meddling in the Gosselin’s child rearing began before filming stopped and Jon was seen getting friendly with the world’s worst in-laws, the Kreiders.
She also owes Nadya Suleman an apology. This was another instance of her involving herself in a personal family situation solely to garner publicity for herself.
If Tiger owes apologies to any of his mistresses for his behavior (I am not arguing that he does), but if he does, there is no reason it cannot be handled in private, preferably by written communication.
Pirro was right on the mark with her comments. Sean Hannity (who I don’t agree with on hardly anything) also asked Allred good questions and her answers were beyond pathetic….
If you’re doing porn, you can’t pretend to be so innocent that you don’t know that a married man might lie in order to sleep with you. (And you should be better with birth control.) I don’t know how Gloria keeps a straight face in all this.
Between Tiger’s career, his family, and the other dozen or so women, how much time could he have spent with any of the women? I’m thinking, not very much. How could they all have possibly thought they were the only other woman? I guess they’re all upset to find out they were one of many, but I don’t see how any of them could have enough to go on for a palimony suit. Not that won’t try.
I don’t think Woods owes any of the women he was involved with an apology, any more than they owe him an apology. All involved were adults who knew what they were getting into.
I hate Gloria Allred because she’s an ambulance chaser and because she dons the guise of feminism but she’s such a ridiculous feminist role model when she tries to sell crap like this. She makes feminists look bad.
I don’t care about her client’s profession – porn stars are women, too, and I don’t have a problem with Ms. James. I don’t think her line of work or her affair with Woods make her look as bad as marching around publicly demanding an apology and trying to get attention for sleeping with a married man.
I could never understand why anyone labels these sports people “hero”. What is so heroic about hitting, catching, kicking, a ball? I think they deserve the champion label for their sports accomplishments but hero? These people are just flesh and blood, just human, and humans make mistakes alot. Maybe we shouldn’t put them on pedastals. Charles Barkley was right many years ago by saying he was not a role model and that was the job of parents. Woods owes no one an apology except those he hurt the most, his family.IMO
I completely agree with you, Mandy, regarding putting sports stars (or any celebrities, really) on pedestals. We don’t really know these people, no matter how much we may think that we do. It’s not really wise or fair to attribute qualities to them that they may or may not possess and then be disappointed when they fail to live up to our expectations.
I think part of the problem is that the meaning of “hero” has been twisted. We conflate suffering with heroism, with being a good athlete with heroism, actions taken to save one’s own life with heroism. I’m thinking of the pilot who landed in the Hudson – not to take anything away from his actions that day, which were in every way admirable, but I didn’t understand applying the word “heroic” to them, because to me a necessary component of heroism is a certain selflessness or a lack of self-interest. In the case of the pilot, Sullenberger, it was of course in his own best interest not to crash the plane. Again, I think his skill and clear-headedness make him very worthy of admiration (just as Woods’ golf skill makes him worthy of admiration, to a degree). I think if we are seeking role models, it’s better to look to people we actually know, and not expect that they will fulfill our expectations in every way. No one is perfect. That’s true not just in the general “everyone makes mistakes” sense, but in the larger “everyone has less than admirable personal qualities” sense.
Gloria cares about keeping herself in the media. Had Tiger apologized to this woman (or the other 11) it would have been a slap in the face to his wife- the one who deserves the apology. Thgose women knew who he was, that he was married, and what they were getting themselves into. An apology? I don’t think so.
