PG for sequences of action violence and some mild rude humor
Jackie Chan plays Bob, the nerd/pen salesman next door. Oh, and for a bonus, he is mom’s new boyfriend. So, the three kids hate him. And do their best to try and break up Mom and Bob. Then Mom has to leave town suddenly and hey, Bob volunteers to watch the kids. Cause it’ll be the perfect opportunity for them to bond. Oops, except for the Russian spies; who apparently studied at the Boris and Natasha school of evil and accents. Slapstick, misunderstandings and bad jokes ensue.
This co-stars George Lopez and Billy Ray Cyrus (oh he of Acky Breaky Heart & father of Miley fame). Yes, it’s as bad as it sounds.
It felt like a made for Disney Channel movie. Not one of their better ones.
Which is too bad, cause I really do like Jackie Chan. He’s got great comedic timing and his stunts are SO fun to watch.
My overall review: This movie SUCKED. And not in a good way. Sorry, Jackie!

Yikes! This sounds really really bad. Did you get these tickets free?
Yes, as a matter of fact, I did. Thank goodness. I’d have been pretty ticked if I’d paid to see this! Even the kids thought it was stupid and boring.
I actually kind of like George Lopez. I guess these type of movies are a paycheck and don’t really hurt their careers? Not sure why else they would do them.
