Victoria Beckham recently traded her well known short hairstyle for long flowing extensions past her shoulders. She is being criticized by a number of sites on the internet for this look stating that it is old, retro and not “cool.” I think this hairstyle makes her face look softer and I like this look on her. How about you?

I like it, but then, I pretty much always prefer longer hair on women. It’s probably un-pc of me to say so – I know it harkens back to very traditional ideas about femininity – but generally I think most women look better with hair that’s at least shoulder length. Some women can pull off extremely short hair, but it’s usually the sort of woman (example: Halle Berry) who looks good, no matter what.
I haven’t been a big fan of some of Beckham’s hairstyle choices, but I think this is a good look for her. She still looks a little too skinny in that pic, though. Her face is kind of drawn.
I don’t like the top of it. Looks too messy.
I like her hair best when it’s in a bob. She’s got the body and style that she wears short hair well.
Geez, “retro” and “old.” Really? I am not seeing it.
Theresa, I see your point about it being kind of “messy.” Not sure if that that is intentional or not.
I’m not a huge fan of Posh, but I think she is pretty enough and has symmetrical features and can pull off a variety of different hairstyles.
I actually like this look on her. Now if she would just smile…..
